German born harpist Ulla van Daelen began her musical career at the tender age of 5. By age 10, she was being recognized for her talent at music competitions. While working as a classical concert harpist, van Daelen began to develop new sounds and rhythms for the harp, drawing inspiration from frequent collaborations with several famous jazz musicians. She is the solo harpist of the WDR Radio Orchestra, Cologne.
